Create a directory, download the newest DavMail version (4.8.0 at the moment) and unzip it

tar -xvzf davmail-linux-x86_64-4.8.3-2554.tgz

Create a davmail.properties with your favourite editor

vim davmail.properties

firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=1025/tcp
firewall-cmd --reload

Start the service, and run it as a background process

nohup ./davmail.sh davmail.properties &

The log is saved in nohup.out

tail -f nohup.out
